Roasted Green Beans & Bacon

I’m always looking for new side dishes that are easy and effortless to pull together. Since we are weekend campers, when I’m out at the campground I want to enjoy my time sitting around the campfire or going for hikes, not spending hours preping a meal. Since adding the Blackstone Griddle to our trips, this has become so easy, and I loved making these Roasted Green Beans & Bacon on it recently.

Preheat your Blackstone Griddle. You could also do this in a large cast iron pan if you don’t have a Blackstone.

Getting everything prepped ahead of time helps make this side dish come together quickly

Add the bacon and onions to the Blackstone and cook over medium heat.

Stir the green beans occasionally to prevent burning.

Slowly incorporate the bacon and onions into the green beans as they cook.

When the green beans are tender, turn off the Blackstone or pan and place green beans on a plate.

Serve with your favorite main dish and enjoy!

What I love about roasted green beans & bacon is how simple it is to make and easy to pull together. It requires very little prep time and has amazing flavor. Plus who doesn’t love bacon?
